Sylvia Kouvali founded the gallery (formerly known as Rodeo) in Istanbul in 2007, looking to bring together the unnecessarily separated scenes of Greece, Turkey and Cyprus. Sylvia Kouvali represents an international roster of mid-career and established artists from the U.S., Canada, Europe and the Mediterranean, the Middle East, and North Africa, working across painting, sculpture, photography, film, installation, and performance. With spaces in London and Piraeus the gallery aims to foster dialogue between collectors, museums, and curators to enhance global engagement with contemporary art.
